1. Our Commitment

NDT Academy wants every technician to be able to train here. We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA across the Platform, including the lesson player, examinations, dashboards, and certificate downloads.

2. What We Do

Semantic HTML with labeled forms and a logical heading structure; a skip-to-content link and full keyboard operability with visible focus indicators; alternative text on informative images and aria-hidden on decorative ones; captions/transcripts for lesson narration (lesson text mirrors the audio); respect for prefers-reduced-motion in all animated and 3D content; readable font sizes and color-contrast targets of 4.5:1 for body text; and printable, screen-reader-accessible certificates and transcripts (HTML first, not image-only).

3. Known Limitations

Some interactive 3D trainers and simulators are inherently visual; wherever a trainer gates progress, the same learning objectives are covered in the written lesson and assessed in standard, accessible quizzes. Some legacy trainer-lab color choices are still being brought up to AA contrast. We audit and remediate on a continuing schedule.

4. Assessment

The Platform undergoes internal audits against WCAG 2.2 AA (most recently July 2026, which drove fixes to focus indicators, skip navigation, exam result labeling, and reduced-motion behavior). We plan periodic third-party assessment as the catalog grows.
